Dear Families,
Hello April!
As we SPRING into April we will be staying quite busy with lots of learning taking place in our classroom.
We have begun our insect/bug ALP. The students are researching about their bugs and will be able to describe the following:
The kiddos really enjoyed Jungle Jill this past week. She brought so many cool creatures and it was totally interactive and very exciting!
In math, there seems to be quite an interest in starting multiplication so we are going to start that unit this week! We will begin by working with equal groups of objects in order to understand the foundation of multiplication.
In Writer’s Workshop we will be discussing what it means to persuade, and identifying what is fact and what is opinion.
Our Spring Fling is April 22nd. Each class was asked to choose a theme for a basket to be part of a silent auction. Our class will be doing a DIY (Do it yourself) basket. This can be anything the students can do ( ie, a jewelry making kit, a frame to paint, a small magic trick, etc). Anything you can donate for this basket would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mrs. Prager
